First peel the vegetables and then cut them into small pieces.
Finely cut the garlic.
Spray the griddle plate with oil and heat.
Fry the vegetables until they start to get a nice roasted aroma.
Place the vegetables into a prepared bowl and fry the minced meat.
Once the minced meat has browned, add a tube of tomato paste and heat.
Finally, add the minced meat to the vegetables, add the two cans of chunky tomatoes and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
In another pot, melt the butter and then add the flour, stirring (use a whisk), until a solid mass is formed for the roux. Let this sizzle briefly and then deglaze with a drop of milk.
Stir constantly. Once the milk has completely set, add more milk little by little until all the milk has been stirred in.
Season the finished béchamel sauce with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Add alternate layers of béchamel, minced meat-vegetable mixture, lasagne sheets and cheese in the rib-roast.
For the last layer we keep aside a portion of sprinkled cheese, so that we get a nice cheese crust later.
The grill is now set up for indirect 200°C heat so that the Rib Roast is positioned between the two outer, active burners.
After about 1.5 hours, the lasagne is ready and can be served with a side salad or side of your choice.
