Ingredients

4 bananas
12 pieces dark chocolate, around 3 pieces per banana
1 handful raspberries
1 handful currants or cherries
2 tablespoons almond flakes, optional
4 scoops vanilla ice cream, optional

Instructions

Preheat your grill for indirect cooking over medium heat, with the outside burners on medium and the centre on low.
Trim the ends of the bananas and slice them in half lengthwise, leaving the skin on.
Gently press 3 pieces of dark chocolate into each banana half.
Place the bananas on the grill skin side down.
Grill for about 10 minutes, or until the bananas are soft and the chocolate has melted.
Meanwhile, lightly crush the berries to release their juice.
Remove the bananas from the grill and place them on serving plates.
Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a spoonful of berries, a drizzle of fresh berry juice, and a sprinkle of almond flakes if using.
Serve immediately while warm.
