Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
400 g waxy potatoes, peeled
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon grated nutmeg
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon thyme
½ teaspoon oregano
375 ml milk
75 g grated cheese for topping
Instructions
Brush a baking dish with oil.
◦ Slice the potatoes thinly or use a mandolin, then place them into the dish. Add all the spices and mix well.
◦ Pour the milk over the potatoes and cook at 200°C with indirect heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
◦ Once the potatoes are almost done and about 75% of the milk has reduced, sprinkle the cheese evenly on top and bake for
another 5–10 minutes until golden brown.
